As a locally owned and operated business made up of talented people and their families living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Image Pressworks has embraced the environmental vision of “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.”
We encourage our clients to choose sustainable print choices, including but not limited to:
• Choosing paper banding instead of shrink wrapping
• Choosing to print on recycled paper
• Choosing to print with soy-based inks
• Choosing Smart Shipping
• Donating the unused space on their press sheet to our “Share the Ink” program
Join us in reducing your carbon footprint. Each choice, alone or all together, will help save the environment.
Long before it became a popular practice, Image Pressworks operated—and continues to operate on a daily basis—using guidelines that minimize the negative impact on our environment. Throughout our plant, recycling containers outnumber garbage cans 25:1.
Our commitment to sustainable practices has placed Image Pressworks on Oregon Business Magazine’s Top 100 Best Green Workplaces in Oregon for 10 years.
The Image Pressworks team includes growing families, and we want them to have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest as we do. Therefore, our goal is to do everything we can on a daily basis to help preserve our environment.
The process of planting and harvesting trees captures and holds carbon dioxide. There is no other industry that is actually sustainable in this way.
Paper is the most recycled product compared to metal, glass and plastic. It’s also biodegradable.
By supporting tree planting, we help offset pollution from cars, thereby producing more oxygen to help us all breathe better.
We make a conscious effort to buy within the Portland Metro area and the Pacific Northwest to help support our local economy.
Our Green Team is led by the passions. We encourage our employees to include their spouses, kids, and clients to join us through volunteering. Therefore, we can make a difference in the community, and hopefully influence others to follow suit.
